THE VINEYARD

Au cœur d’un écosystème préservé de 70 hectares entre collines et garrigues, Alain et Patricia cultivent en 100 % bio un terroir d’exception situé au sud de l’appellation Saint-Chinian, sur des sols majoritairement argilo-calcaires.

The vineyard boasts an impressive number of grape varieties: Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Muscat, Merlot, Viognier, Roussanne, and Marsanne (recently planted).

While the 30 hectares of vineyards occupy a central place in the estate, they are surrounded by scrubland, woods, and fruit trees (olive, almond, peach, etc.). The integration and coexistence of different crops are one of the distinctive features of the estate.

Located just around forty kilometers from the Mediterranean coast, the Château de Gragnos' location imparts the typical freshness of Southern wines to the grape varieties.
